Okay.. Dang!

My baby girl is nearly two months old and I need to update... now!

I'm a loser... I can't even type up what I'm doing and I have ALL day...

Well, at least five nap times, lasting an hour and a half each, to do whatever I want...

So, here' goes..

Being a mommy rocks! I really love being home with Esther. She makes life wonderful. She's rarely fussy, a good eater and sleeper (six hours the other night!), and she's starting to smile at people. She loves sleeping in her Daddy's arms and being read to. She is currently enjoying the complete collection of Winnie-the-Pooh. When she's not being held she loves to swing and stare in amazement at her mobile.

Aunt Vanessa is spending Spring Break with us, and every spare moment adoring her niece. She's been so kind as to take some night feedings and so I got three nights of 8 hours sleep. I felt like a new human being. Sleep never did have to be too particular for me. I can sleep anytime for any amount of time a feel fine... or so I thought... I never had to do it for 6 weeks in a row. It's HARD!

Aside from being with Aaron, spending time with Vanessa, and adoring my baby, it's spring finally! Aaron and I are already working on the yard. Last Saturday we put a divider between our grass and veggie garden that will eventually hold in the mulch that's going around the garden beds. The tomatoes and herbs my mom and I started are thriving (they are at her house so this year my cat won't EAT them). I'm so excited to start planting tons and tons of flowers for my princess. Because, as everyone knows, little girls need LOTS of flowers to pick. :)
