WOW

Yeah, wow! It's been a long time since I've posted anything. I've been busy reading up on all the important pregnancy and parenthood stuff, getting my baby room and items all ready and in order, and winding down the summer trying to make the most of the time left with my sister before she leaves for Canada again. All that said, I'm halfway through my pregnancy (and although I'm the only one who can tell, I've gained ten pounds and I AM getting bigger), 20 weeks tomorrow on my 24th birthday. It's strange to think my 20's are half over, and I'm going to be a mom in 4 1/2 months. Time flies when your having fun! And boy am I having fun! See?

Baby room! I love it! And I love the freedom, yes FREEDOM, of not knowing what we're having.

"But, Cecelia," you ask, "HOW on EARTH will you be able to plan ANYTHING without knowing?!?!?!?!?!?"

Yeah, whatever... think about it: boy=blue, girl=pink, unknown=whatever the heck you want except pink. That works for me, since anyone who knows me at all knows that pink is at the bottom of the list of colors I like. So, that said, we are going to let it be a surprise, and the baby room is going to be apple green, butter yellow, cream, and chocolate brown (notice those are all food colors, sounds yummy to me). :)

Our first ultrasound is next Thursday. YAY!
